中根秀夫展「理想郷」

昨年の秋に郡山のトトノエルgallery cafeで開催された「うつくしいくにのはなしⅢ理想郷（ユートピア）」展を東京に巡回する。

それはまた、２021年のギャラリーナユタでの「Stay out, stay home」展の続編でもある。

「傷」や「痛み」について、TOKYOとFUKUSHIMAとの非対称性について、何度でも問い直すこと。

"Ａ tale of a beautiful country Ⅲ: utopia", a personal exhibition held at totonoel gallery cafe in Koriyama, Fukushima last autumn, will travel to Tokyo this spring. It could be a sequel to the "Stay out, stay home" held at Gallery Nayuta in 2021.　

I shall continue to recall their "wounds" and "pains" ; question the structure of the asymmetrical nature between TOKYO and FUKUSHIMA repeatedly.

□1996年帰国後,「VOCA展97」(上野の森美術館)他, The London Groupのメンバーとしてロンドンでの展示, 国内外でグループ展等に参加. 2004年からはGalerie SOLで継続的に個展を開催する. □ 2014年に池内晶子との二人展(写真), 2016年武田多恵子(詩), かみむら泰一(Sax即興)と映像作品「もういちど秋を」を制作. また, 平田星司と展覧会企画ユニット「Aesthetic Life」を結成し, 2015年に「Aesthetic Life ‒ Automatic」展, 2017年に「海のプロセス－言葉をめぐる地図(アトラス)」(都美セレクショングループ展)を開催. 2019年記録集「ephemeral / eternal 中根秀夫平田星司」を刊行. □以降, 写真と映像を中心に個展／プロジェクト. 2019年「うつくしいくにのはなし Ⅱ」(Galerie SOL), 「もうひとつのもういちど秋を」(Gallery Nayuta). 2020年映像上映会「ちいさなくに - in a small realm」(さいたま市民会館うらわホール),「木戸駅と」(Gallery Nayuta), 「木々と日々」(Galerie H). 2021年「Stay out, stay home」(Gallery Nayuta). □かみむら泰一と映像作品《try to remember 2020》(アートにエールを！), 渡邊ゆりひと(詩・独唱)と映像作品《ちいさなくに - in a small realm》 (2021〜2022年)を発表. 2022年個展「Lemon」(Galerie SOL) . 2023年個展『うつくしいくにのはなしⅢ 理想郷(ユートピア)』（トトノエル gallery cafe）など.

Born in Chiba, Japan. works and live in Kanagawa, Japan

After returning to Japan in 1996, participated in several exhibitions such as the first solo exhibition “Ordinary Time” at Atsugi City Bunka-kaikan Hall in Kanagawa, “The Vision of Contemporary Art '97” at the Ueno Royal Museum in Tokyo and also in the UK, works shown in group exhibitions as a member of the London Group up to 2010. Major exhibitions have been organized at Galerie SOL in Tokyo continuously since 2004.

Organized remarkable projects such as; "Aesthetic Life -Automatic" at Toki Art Space in 2015 and "Process of the Sea -Words Atlas" at Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum in 2017 — cocurated exhibition with Seiji Hirata; "a white day" — a photography show with Akiko Ikeuch at Café & GalerÍa PARADA in 2104; "Mellow Yellow Project — DVD production with Taiich Kamimura (sax, improvisation) in 2013; "Try to remember — video collaboration with Taeko Takeda (words) and Taiich Kamimura (sax) in 2016, solo exhibition "a tale of a beautiful country - forget-me-not"Galerie SOL, "Try to remember" Gallery Nayuta in 2019, "in a small realm" Saitama City Cultural Center Hall, and solo exhibition "#Kido Station" in 2020.

More recently, engaged in showing photography of Fukushima such as "Stay out, stay home" and "Stay out, Trees and Days" in 2021, "Lemon" in 2022, "a tale of a beautiful country Ⅲ-utopia" in 2023, etc.
