西田真緒展「あんな色こんな色」

まず魅せられるその色の美しさ。

色は自分で選び、チューブから紙に直接置き、刷毛や筆、ローラーで伸ばしてゆきます。

ストローク、飛沫、かすれ。複雑に重なりまとまりを成した絵は、伸びやかに輝き息づいています。

ときに生き物が動いた痕跡のようにも感じられます。

ナユタでは毎年１2月、工房集さんのカレンダーに因む展示を開きます。

昨年末、西田真緒さんの作品が飾られた際、「個展で観たい」と多くの声が寄せられ、今個展へ繋がりました。

The first thing that attracts us is the beauty of her colors.

Mao Nishida chooses the colors herself, directly places them from the paints tube onto the paper, and spreads them with different brushes and rollers.
Then strokes, splashes, and blurs appear in the colors. These intricately and freely layered elements eventually start breathing and shaping one artistic painting with its unique shine and vibration. Sometimes they seem to be the traces of a living creature in motion.
Every December, Nayuta holds the exhibition dedicated to KOBO SYU's original calendar.
When Nishida's works were displayed at the end of last year, many people hoped and asked to see her solo,

which led to this precious first solo exhibition.
