私は言葉を媒介とする書を勉強してきましたが、
言葉では言い表せない、
言葉にすると逃げていってしまう気持ちを表現したいと、
日本画を学びはじめました。
言葉と絵画が互いに影響を与えながら
表現を深めていった時代の大和絵を学び、
現代に活かせたらと希い、作品制作を試みています。

While studying Calligraphy for 40 years, I only used words as medium of my expressions.
Then, I started studying Japanese painting more than 10years ago
because I wanted to express my feelings that I couldn't express in words. In a way,
such feelings seemed to run away if I tried to express them in words.
The Yamato-e painting style flourished in the era where words and paintings influenced each other
to enhance the artistic expressions. I have been learning this technique and trying to create my works,
hoping to use it for expressions in this modern times.

今関脩竹に師事し、かな書の古典を習い、京都芸術大学で美学を学ぶ。
１９９７年銀座空想ガレリアにて第一回個展開催、以後日本各地また海外でも個展を重ねる。
絵画と書の融合を試み、書画一體の現代における大和絵を蘇らせたいと制作している。
